Sowmya Somesha

Sowmya Somesha is a skilled Functional Safety Engineer with extensive experience in the field of power electronics and functional safety for hybrid and electric vehicles. Currently at YASA since May 2020, Sowmya focuses on functional safety in e-motors. Previously, Sowmya held the position of Senior Hardware Functional Safety at Protean Electric from January 2018 to April 2020 and served as a Power Electronics Engineer at GE Power Conversion from March 2008 to November 2017. Sowmya holds a Master's degree in Power Electronics and Drives from the University of Nottingham.
