David Russell

David Russell has extensive experience in operations and management within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and previously as Operations Manager at Yaskawa Electric Corporation since September 2021, David has held significant roles at several prominent companies, including Engineering and Maintenance Manager at MAHLE ENGINE SYSTEMS UK LIMITED, Operations Leader at Cummins Inc., and Production Manager at Philips Lighting. David began a career in management as a Shift Manager at Jabil and has experience as a Group Leader at Matsushita and Customer Services Agent at Sky. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland, attained between 1988 and 1993, complemented by foundational education at Carrick Academy and Maidens Primary.
