Terrence Maponya

Terrence Maponya has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Terrence started their career as a Shelfpacker and Merchandiser at Pick n Pay in December 2015, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Radio Presenter at Alex FM from June 2015 to January 2017.

In 2016, Terrence founded their own company called ALT X CONCEPTS, where they served as the Managing Director and Founder.

In 2017, they returned to Pick n Pay and took part in their Trainee Store Manager Programme. Over the years, they held various positions at Pick n Pay, including Receiving Manager, Fresh Produce Manager, Fresh Foods & Perishables Manager, and Acting Floor and Admin Manager.

In 2021, Terrence joined Zulzi as a Dark Store/Warehouse Manager and worked until February 2023. Terrence then joined Yassir in January 2023 as a Dark Store Manager.

Terrence Maponya began their education journey in 2015 at Central Johannesburg College, where they pursued a degree in Motor Trade, specifically focusing on N2. Terrence then continued their studies in 2017 at Pick N Pay, specializing in Retail Management. In 2018, they enrolled at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and obtained a Certificate in Project Management. Currently, Terrence is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General at MANCOSA, starting from 2022.
