Anthony Torres

Anthony Torres MD serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Yavapai Regional Medical Center since July 2016, following a tenure as Medical Director for YRMC Physician Care. With over 23 years of experience in Internal Medicine, Anthony manages a multispecialty group of 50 providers and has practiced in various leadership roles at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Prior to Yavapai, Anthony held positions as an internist at John Muir Medical Group, where responsibilities included chairing the Department of Medicine. Anthony began a solo Internal Medicine practice after purchasing a clinic from a retiring physician and later sold it to John Muir Medical Group. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
