Dave Welling

Dave Welling is the current Director at YCharts. Prior to their current position, Dave held various other positions including Co-General Manager of SS&C Advent, General Manager of Black Diamond, and VP Advisor Practice Management at Charles Schwab.

Dave started their career in 1991 as a Business Analyst at Dun & Bradstreet Software. Dave then transitioned to Bain & Company as a Consultant from 1995-1997. In 1997, Dave began their nearly 13 year tenure at Charles Schwab as the VP Advisor Practice Management. In 2009, Dave left Charles Schwab to become the General Manager of Black Diamond, an independent business group of Advent Software. Dave served in this role until 2015 when they became the Head of SS&C Advent division. Dave held this position until 2017 when they left to become the current Director at YCharts.

Dave Welling has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics, Physics, and Creative Writing from Middlebury College.
