Ioannis Vasmatzidis

Ioannis Vasmatzidis is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in user experience and experience design across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Director of Experience Design at Year Up United since April 2023, Ioannis previously held significant roles including Director and Head of User Experience at Pershing (March 2015 - January 2023), Executive Director of User Experience at JPMorgan Chase (January 2013 - March 2015), and Vice President of User Experience roles at JP Morgan and Wells Fargo. Throughout a career spanning over 25 years, Ioannis has successfully led and mentored diverse teams, established user experience practices, and designed critical applications for wealth management and financial services. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
