Perrine Fortes

Perrine Fortes is a biotechnology engineer currently working at Onima (formerly Yeasty) since January 2023. Prior experience includes a position at Sanofi as a Stagiaire in cell culture process development from February to August 2022, where responsibilities involved developing and studying the robustness of cell culture processes using bioreactors. Perrine also completed a research internship at the Laboratoire de Biologie Tissulaire et Ingénierie thérapeutique (LBTI) in 2021, focusing on the impact of low-grade inflammation on endothelial skin cells and vascularization in the context of obesity and diabetes, under the supervision of Dr. Dominique Sigaudo-Roussel. Earlier experience included a hands-on internship as a packaging operator at Alpina Savoie in June 2018. Academic qualifications include an engineering degree in Biotechnology from INSA Lyon, a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, and a scientific Baccalauréat from Lycée Vaugelas Chambéry.
