Nir Stein

Nir Stein is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience in technology transfer and commercialization. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Yeda, the Technology Transfer Company of the Weizmann Institute of Science since March 2020, Nir Stein oversees projects that connect academia with industry needs. Previously, Nir Stein held the position of Chief Business Development and Product Officer at 3GSolar Photovoltaics, where innovative photovoltaic solutions were developed for low-light energy harvesting applications. An independent consultant, Nir Stein provides commercialization assessments and strategic recommendations across various technologies. Academic credentials include an MBA from Tel Aviv University, an M.Sc. in Molecular Electronics and Photovoltaics from the Weizmann Institute, and dual B.Sc. degrees in Physics and Material Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
