Geri Barrison, PHR

Geri Barrison, PHR has over 20 years of professional experience in the Human Resources field. In 2000, they began their career as an Admissions Coordinator at Boston University School of Music. Geri then worked as a Recruiter and Client Service Manager at Spherion Staffing and Interim Healthcare from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Recruiter at Liberty Mutual, where they were responsible for full life-cycle recruiting, developing and maintaining relationships with Hiring Managers, and analyzing recruiting strategy and metrics. From 2010 to 2021, they worked at IBM as a Principal Product Manager and Product Manager for BrassRing, Onboard, CRM, and IBM Talent Management Solutions, where they were responsible for global product strategy/vision, roadmap, sales/service enablement, marketing, revenue/profitability targets, and product lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment. In 2021, they joined General Motors as an Innovation Lead - HR Technology, where they managed the Insights team, reviewed and analyzed tech stack for Global Talent Acquisition, and implemented and integrated Beamery into Workday. Geri is currently the Director of Product Management - Enterprise at Yello.co.

Geri Barrison, PHR has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and History from Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences and a Master of Science in Mass Communication/Marketing and Advertising from Boston University's College of Communication. Additionally, they hold a certification as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM.
