Balendu Kumar Singh

Balendu Kumar Singh is currently the Associate Director (Demand Gen) at yellow.ai. Prior to that, they were the Regional Sales Head for South India at LocoNav (BT TechLabs Pvt Ltd) from October 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were with ORAVEL Stays Private Limited (OYO) from November 2018 to July 2019 as the Regional Sales Head (MMCEO).

In their current role at yellow.ai, Balendu is responsible for managing and executing demand generation campaigns that create awareness and generate qualified leads for the sales team. Balendu also works closely with the sales team to ensure successful follow-through and conversion of leads into customers.

Previously, as Regional Sales Head for South India at LocoNav, Balendu was responsible for signing up Corporate / Travel agents across the region into the affiliate program. Balendu was also responsible for building and sustaining the Corporate/Travel agent base for distribution expansion in the region. In addition, they were responsible for maintaining monthly sales tracker, planning and executing market site visits, and contributing towards meeting the assigned Hub targets.

At ORAVEL Stays Private Limited (OYO), Balendu was responsible for Demand forecasting and analysis, driving sales statically keeping in view of competitive Analysis. Balendu was also responsible for ensuring timely collections (BTC Overdue) from partners in coordination with finance. In addition, they were responsible for building new avenues for growth and sustaining the existing ones, suggesting and inculcating loyalty/incentive programs & marketing activities in the region in order to ensure revenue growth.
