Jay Sahal

Jay Sahal is the current CFO at yellow.ai, and has previously held positions at various start-ups, most notably Inspira Enterprise India Pvt. Ltd., Wipro Limited, and Tata Steel.

Born in Mumbai, India, Jay has always had a knack for numbers and problem-solving. After completing their undergraduate degree in commerce from Mumbai University, Jay went on to pursue their Chartered Accountancy (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Upon becoming a CA in 2000, Jay began their career at Tech Mahindra in their FP&A department. Two years later, they moved to Tata Steel, where they spent two years as Manager of Strategic Finance. In 2004, they joined Wipro Limited as Vice President and CFO for their Healthcare & Life Sciences SBU.

After 16 years with Wipro, Jay made the move to Inspira Enterprise India Pvt. Ltd. in 2020, where they served as Head of Finance & Accounts, Procurement, Commercial Operations & M&A functions. However, after only six months with the company, Jay decided to move on to yellow.ai, where they currently serve as CFO.

Throughout their 20+ year career, Jay has gained a wealth of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategy formulation and implementation, risk management, and M&A transactions. Jay is a highly respected leader in the field, and their experience and expertise have helped him contribute to the success of numerous businesses around the world.

Jay Sahal has a degree in B.COM from St. Xavier's College and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Jay also has a Certification in Treasury Management from ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad and is a Company Secretory from The Institute of Company Secretories of India. Jay has also completed their Higher Secondary in Commerce from Shree Jain Vidyalaya.

Jay Sahal reports to Raghu Ravinutala, CEO & Co-Founder. and Vikash Fogla - VP, Finance reports to Jay Sahal. They are on a team with Surbhi Agarwal - SVP, Global Product Marketing, Gulshan Dhanani - Chief of Staff, and Derek Risley - SVP, Sales Americas.
