Thiago Schiefer

Thiago Schiefer has a diverse range of work experience in the music and audio industry. Thiago started in 2011 as a Music Teacher, where they taught guitar and vocal skills to students of all ages and backgrounds. In 2012, they became a Multimedia Instructor at SESC SP Serviço Social do Comércio, where they planned and taught classes on music and technology.

From 2014 to 2020, Thiago worked as a Freelancer, composing and producing music for video games, short films, and audiobooks. Thiago also created sound effects and worked with clients from various countries. During this time, they also worked at Tapps Games, the largest game studio in Brazil, as a Sound Designer, Composer, and Voice Designer. Thiago created music, sound effects, and voice overs for over 50 mobile and VR games and managed voice actors and their dialogue.

Thiago started their own business called Academia de Composição in 2016, where they provided composition services until 2020. In 2020, they joined Ubisoft Toronto as a Development Tester and later became a Voice Designer. Thiago worked on voice-related projects until August 2022.

In 2022, Thiago joined Yellow Brick Games Inc. as an Audio Designer, and they are also currently working as a Teacher in the Audio Foundations program at Centennial College.

Throughout their career, Thiago has showcased their skills in composing, producing, recording vocals, and playing multiple instruments. Thiago has also demonstrated proficiency in audio editing, video production, graphic and web design.

Thiago Schiefer has a diverse education history, with a focus on music, theatre, and social communication. Thiago obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication - degree in Publishing from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) from 2005 to 2008. During this time, they also attended the Souza Lima Conservatory where they studied electric guitar, vocals, and music theory from 2003 to 2008.

Thiago Schiefer further pursued their passion for music by earning a postgraduate diploma in Songwriting, Music Production, and Performance from the Faculdade Santa Marcelina (FASM) in 2013 and 2014. Additionally, they enhanced their knowledge and skills through various certifications, such as Wwise 201 and Wwise 101 from Audiokinetic, completed in May 2021 and November 2020 respectively. Moreover, they completed the Audio Mixing Bootcamp from LinkedIn in May 2020 and obtained certifications in Agile Testing and Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA from LinkedIn in January 2020.

In the field of gaming, Thiago Schiefer completed online courses including "Story and Narrative Development for Video Games" and "Introduction to Game Design" from Coursera in December 2019 and October 2019 respectively. Thiago also pursued specialization in music for media, completing certifications in "Cinematic Orchestration" and "Music for the Media" from ThinkSpace Education in January 2016.
