Derrick Tsorme

Derrick Tsorme has a diverse range of work experience in product design and digital media training. Derrick currently works as a Product Designer at Yellow Card App, where they create user experiences for the company's crypto platform. At Yellow Card, they conceptualized and designed the main Admin Dashboard, improving company operations. Additionally, they volunteer as a Design Mentor on Adplist.org, providing guidance to designers seeking career advancement. Derrick previously worked as a Product Designer at Uxcel, where they redesigned the Skill Graph feature and worked on other learning features. Derrick also worked as a UX Designer at Hubtel, contributing to various product designs and leading notable projects. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Product Designer at Arda Finance, designing a dashboard for Hedge fund managers. Derrick also has experience as a Digital Media Trainer at Developers in Vogue, where they trained women in digital media and marketing. Derrick Tsorme pursued a User Experience Nanodegree at Udacity in 2021, focusing on User Experience and User Interface Design. In the same year, they also completed the Google UX Design Professional Certificate at Coursera, specializing in Google UX Design.

Prior to that, Derrick Tsorme attended the University of Ghana from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a degree in Public Health with a focus on Public Health Informatics.

From 2013 to 2017, Derrick Tsorme studied at the University of Cape Coast, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Statistics.

Before entering university, Derrick Tsorme completed their secondary education at Accra Academy from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a WASSCE degree in General Science.

Additionally, Derrick Tsorme has acquired several certifications. Notably, they obtained a certificate in Design Accessibility from Uxcel in March 2022, a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in December 2021, and completed a Responsive Web Design course with freeCodeCamp in December 2021. Derrick has also obtained various other certifications related to mentorship, UX design, project management, digital marketing, and SEO from organizations such as adplist.org, LinkedIn, Google Digital Skills For Africa, and Coursera. These certifications span from 2020 to 2023.
