Ernest Murimi

Ernest Murimi has a diverse work experience starting from their current role as a Platform Engineering Manager at Yellow Card Financial, where they lead multiple teams and projects in the Platform Portfolio. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Living Goods, where they led the global technology development team and managed the software development lifecycle. Ernest also held the position of a Senior Software Engineer at Living Goods, where they supported product management and design and led the development and maintenance of features on the platform.

Before their time at Living Goods, Ernest worked as a Technical Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Eclectics International, where they were involved in leading application and database development. Ernest also worked as an Independent Consultant for USAID, where they developed and supported enterprise solutions for their major projects. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer at Scangroup and Knowing Limited, where they contributed to the development of various solutions for their clients.

Throughout their career, Ernest has demonstrated leadership and technical skills, including mentoring and managing software engineers, providing clear feedback, and facilitating agile development processes. Ernest has experience in the financial, healthcare, and advertising industries, as well as working with government projects.

Ernest Murimi obtained a Diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University in 2009 and pursued further education at the same institution. From 2012 to 2015, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Technology, with a specialization in Information Technology.
