Matt Roush

Matt Roush is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in communications and journalism. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at Yellow Flag Productions since November 2022, Roush oversees media relations and content for Lawrence Technological University. Prior to this role, Roush was the Director of Media Relations and Managing Editor at Lawrence Technological University from February 2016 to November 2022, managing media efforts and developing content for university publications. Roush has also held leadership positions at the Engineering Society of Detroit as Director of Communications and Public Relations, and previously worked as a freelance technology journalist and editor for various publications. Roush's career began in reporting roles, with early journalism experiences at the Three Rivers Commercial, Leelanau Enterprise, Traverse City Record-Eagle, Kalamazoo Gazette, and Crain's Detroit Business. Roush holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech, Communication, and Theatre from Albion College.
