Jed Miley

Jed Miley has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jed started their career as a Teacher at Yellow Wood Academy in August 2012 and worked in that role until June 2016. From July 2016 to August 2017, they served as the Dean of Students at Yellow Wood Academy. Jed then progressed to the role of Assistant Head of School from July 2017 to June 2018. From June 2018 to May 2019, they held the position of Head of School at Yellow Wood Academy. Currently, they are the Executive Director of the academy since May 2019. Prior to their work at Yellow Wood Academy, they worked as the Music Department Head at The Smith School from September 2009 to June 2012. Jed Miley also served as a Rock Band Teacher at Bank Street College from September 2010 to September 2011.

Jed Miley holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Iberian Studies from Seattle University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Jed later pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Seattle University, completing it from 2018 to 2019. In 2015, they received a certification in Special Education from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, and in 2019, they obtained a Principal Teaching certification from the same institution.
