Tad Yanagi

Tad joined Yellow Wood Partners at its founding in 2011 and has been involved in all ten of the firm's acquisitions since its founding. Currently Tad is a Director of PPI Beauty and Scholl's Wellness Company. Previously, Tad was at TA Associates, a private equity firm with $16 billion under management, where he focused on investments in the healthcare, consumer, and retail sectors. Prior to TA, Tad was the Treasurer of the Sunny Delight Beverages Co., where he was part of the initial management team that performed the carve out of the beverages brands from Procter & Gamble. Previously, Tad was an Associate at J.W. Childs Associates, where he was involved with investments in the consumer and specialty retail sectors. His previous J.W. Childs’ portfolio company involvement included Sunny Delight Beverages Co., Murray’s Discount Auto Stores, Pinnacle Foods, and Aurora Foods.

Prior to J.W. Childs, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the real estate group within the investment banking division. Tad received an B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
