Clifford Cate

Clifford Cate has extensive leadership experience in customer success and technology roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as GM and VP of Yelp Restaurants since January 2017, Clifford is responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy of Restaurant SaaS and Marketplace products, and previously led the Customer Success organization for these products at Yelp. As the owner and winemaker at Zobèto Wines since January 2021, Clifford is developing a boutique winery in Paso Robles. Prior to Yelp, Clifford held significant roles at ToutApp, GoodData, CaseCentral, Oracle, Stellent, and Acumen Sciences, focusing on customer success, product development, and strategic account management. Clifford earned a BS in Business and Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 1995.
