Halal Compliance Executive at Yeo Hiap Seng Ltd

Syahirah Ishak is a certified Food Handler Trainer at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, since January 2023, and serves as a Halal Compliance Executive at Yeo Hiap Seng (Yeo’s) since March 2021. In this role, Syahirah manages OEM/co-packer halal applications across Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, coordinates halal activities for the Ipoh Plant, and serves as a Halal Lead Auditor. Previous experience includes a Quality Assurance & Halal Executive position at Seafood Valley Enterprise, where responsibilities encompassed HACCP, GMP, and Halal certification management, as well as conducting training and audits. Earlier roles involved food safety inspections and halal certification applications. Syahirah holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA and has a strong foundation in food safety and quality assurance.
