Katie Lea is an experienced innovation and product development professional with a strong background in the food industry. Currently serving as the Senior Innovations Manager at Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd since July 2018, Katie leads the NPD and innovation pipeline for the Yeo Valley Brand, focusing on consumer insights and sustainable growth. Previous roles include Freelance Innovation Manager and NPD Specialist at Food Ingenious, and Senior Innovations Manager at Tyrrells Potato Crisps Limited, where Katie managed both branded and private label innovations. Additional experience encompasses leadership positions at Fiddes Payne, Lactalis Nestle, Elizabeth the Chef, and Uniq Prepared Foods, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of product development across various sectors. Currently pursuing a degree in Naturopathic Nutrition & Biomedicine at CNM College of Naturopathic Medicine and holding a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, along with a BTech Diploma in Professional Cookery & Patisserie from University College Birmingham.
