Jens Jochems

Jens Jochems has gained extensive experience in the field of recruitment and business development throughout their career. Jens began their career at Select as a Recruitment Consultant Key Accounts and later advanced to the role of Recruitment Key Account Manager, where they successfully managed a national client portfolio and led recruitment projects. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant revenue growth of 375%. After their time at Select, Jens joined DHL Freight as an HR Recruitment & Performance Excellence Officer, where they were responsible for recruitment activities and provided strategic advice on workforce planning and labor legislation. Jens also identified the need for a new recruitment strategy in Belgium. Currently, Jens is working at YER USA as the Director of the Belgian Desk and a Senior International Recruitment Consultant. In this role, they handle full-cycle recruitment for US-based subsidiaries of European companies, provides strategic advisory on expansion strategies, and manages new business development and account management for the global client portfolio. Jens Jochems has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results and driving growth in recruitment and business development.

Jens Jochems completed their education in a chronological manner. Jens started with their high school education at Klein Seminarie Hoogstraten from 2002 to 2008, majoring in Latin and Mathematics. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commercial (Economic) Sciences at KU Leuven from 2008 to 2011. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Commercial (Economic) Sciences with a specialization in Human Resources Management from KU Leuven in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Jens Jochems has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a certified Cebir Expert from Cebir. In 2015, they obtained the VIL-VCU certification in Veiligheid voor intercedenten en leidinggevenden from BeSaCC-VCA. In 2018, they became a Protime Super User, obtaining the certification from Protime. Lastly, in 2020, they obtained the certification in Legal Aspects of HRM in the US from the Institute for Applied Management & Law, Inc.
