Amanda Rawlings has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Program Officer for Secondary Schools at YES Prep Public Schools since January 2011. In this role, Amanda oversees the curricular, assessment, college access, culture, and programming for secondary schools, ensuring equitable education for all students. Amanda previously held positions as Managing Director of School Culture and Founding Principal of YES Prep Thrive, Texas's first Charter DAEP, focusing on alternative education. As a KIPP Fisher Fellow and Director of Student Support, Amanda pioneered innovative approaches in alternative education. Earlier career roles include High School Principal and various teaching positions at YES Prep Public Schools East End, where Amanda earned multiple accolades, including a Kinder Excellence in Teaching award. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art and Biology from Baylor University.
