Brittany McGruder

Brittany McGruder is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in the field. Serving as the Lead Principal at YES Prep Northline since 2017, Brittany has played a pivotal role in establishing the school, which currently supports over 800 students and 80 staff members. Prior to this position, Brittany held various roles at Houston ISD, including Director of Academics, Dean of Instruction, and Teacher, complemented by early experience as a Summer Operations Manager with Teach For America. Brittany's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Teaching Certification from the University of St. Thomas in Texas.
