Jim MacWhorter

Jim MacWhorter is an experienced professional in career advising and training, currently serving as the Associate Director of Career Advising and Technology Systems at Yeshiva University since March 2020. In this role, Jim is responsible for managing standardized first destination data processes, liaising with technology partners, and training the SGC team. Previously, as the Assistant Director at The Shevet Glaubach Center for Career Strategy and Professional Development, Jim developed individualized career plans for students and organized workshops and events. Jim has also held positions at 360 Sports Agency, Sarah Lawrence College, and Berkeley College, where responsibilities included employer relations, career counseling, training program development, and event coordination. Jim holds a Master of Arts in History and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
