John Aguiar

John Aguiar has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. John currently works at YETI as the Manager of Retail Brand Experience. Prior to this, they were a Retail Visual Merchandising Specialist at YETI from August 2019 to May 2020.

Before joining YETI, John had a long tenure at Gap Inc. John held various leadership positions from 2002 to 2008, focusing on staff development, profitability, merchandising, operations, recruiting, and onboarding. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising for GapBody/GapFit globally, developing product strategies and collaborating with cross-functional partners. John also served as the Senior Regional Visual Manager at Gap from 2014 to 2018 and later as the District Visual Manager in 2018 and 2019.

In 2010, John managed the daily operations of the Visual Studio for Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Factory Store as the Visual Merchandising Studio Manager at Gap Inc.

John Aguiar attended Milpitas High School from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Diploma in General Studies. In 2019, they enrolled in the Project Management Certificate Program at The University of Texas at Austin - Center for Professional Education (CPE). As for additional certifications, they achieved Level 1: Access White Belt and Level 3: Excel Purple Belt from McGraw-Hill - SIMnet in May 2021 and April 2021, respectively. John also completed the Microsoft Excel: Beginner to Advanced Full Tutorial from StackSkills in June 2011.
