Chris Hewinson

Chris Hewinson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT field. Chris began their career as a PC Build Technician at McCormick & Company in 2010. Chris then worked as a Hardware Support Specialist at Saks Fifth Avenue before joining the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Computer Information Services Specialist I. In 2011, Hewinson served as a Systems Administrator, IT at Wittenbach Business Systems. The following year, they worked as a Service Desk Technician 2 at Cigna. Hewinson then joined Verizon Wireless as a Regional IT Technician, specializing in Network Engineering. Chris continued their IT support career at Jellyfish Online Marketing US and Simple Finance, where they held the position of IT Support Engineer. At Simple Finance, they also became an IT Systems Engineer, focusing on automation and maintenance of various systems, including VMWare servers and cloud EC2 instances. Most recently, in 2022, they started working as an IT Systems Engineer at Yieldstreet.

Chris Hewinson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Baltimore in 2015. Additionally, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in March 2022.
