Kelvin Piroddi has a diverse work experience in various roles. Starting in 2015, they received practical training at the Zamani Project, assisting with cleaning point clouds, reconstructing 3D objects, and creating a database. In 2017, they worked as a professional land surveyor in training at Initio Earth Science, performing land surveying duties and data acquisition activities using UAVs. From 2017 to 2019, Kelvin worked at Command Quality (Pty) Ltd, where they held multiple roles. As an Automation Engineer, they wrote Java scripts for testing developers' code. Kelvin also worked as a Java Software Engineer, leading a team in developing the backend of a mobile app for a gas supply company. Additionally, they served as a Software Engineer, involved in designing and developing interfaces and adapters using TIBCO Designer and Spring-Boot. In 2019, Kelvin joined Entelect as an Intermediate Software Developer and later transitioned to a Software Engineer role. Currently, they are working at Yieldstreet as a Senior DevOps Engineer, starting in September 2021.

Kelvin Piroddi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Geomatics from the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended St Dunstan's College from 2008 to 2012 for high school. Along with their academic qualifications, Kelvin obtained several certifications from various institutions. These include being a Speaker at ArgoCon 2022 by The Linux Foundation, achieving the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in 2018, becoming a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation in 2021, attaining the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications in 2021 and 2020 respectively, and finally obtaining the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020 and 2019 respectively.
