Kostas Varvakis

Kostas Varvakis has a diverse work experience. Kostas began their career as a Financial Analyst Intern at HSBC in 2015. During this internship, they were responsible for preparing and updating account reconciliations and developing new procedures for database management.

In 2019, Kostas joined PwC Greece as an Associate in Financial Services Advisory. Kostas worked in this position until September 2021 when they were promoted to Senior Associate. At PwC, Kostas gained experience in financial services advisory.

In 2022, Kostas moved to Yieldstreet, where they started as a Portfolio Management Analyst. Within a year, they were promoted to the role of Portfolio Management Associate.

Kostas Varvakis completed their high school education at Lycee Leonin, Nea Smyrni from 2008 to 2011. Kostas then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at Athens University of Economics and Business from 2011 to 2016. During the academic year of 2014 to 2015, they participated in an exchange program at Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave, focusing on Economics.

Seeking further education, Kostas pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Asset Management at the University of Amsterdam from 2017 to 2018. Kostas also obtained additional certifications including MySQL Bootcamp from Udemy in April 2019, an IELTS score of 8/9 from the British Council in March 2016, and Sorbonne C1 from Sorbonne Universités in June 2009.
