Laurent Gonzalo

Laurent Gonzalo has a diverse range of work experiences. Laurent currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at Yinson since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Statkraft as the VP of Development & Commercial Strategy from February 2020 to February 2021. Laurent also served as the CFO (Interim) at Statkraft Chile from September 2019 to March 2020. Laurent has held various roles at Statkraft since 2013, including Business Support Manager (expat), Business Controller South-America, Expat Financial Controller Brazil, and Senior Financial Advisor.

Before joining Statkraft, Laurent worked at KPMG AS, Norway, where they were a Manager in Transaction & Restructuring from December 2011 to September 2013. Laurent also worked as a Manager in Audit at KPMG AS from December 2008 to August 2012. Laurent started their career at KPMG SA as an Assistant Manager from October 2004 to November 2008.

Throughout their career, Laurent has gained extensive experience in financial due diligence, M&A services, and audit services across various sectors, including renewable energies, software, IT consulting and hardware, consulting companies, and the music industry.

Laurent Gonzalo obtained a Master's degree in Audit from Accademie Suisse d'expertise comptable between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Management from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics at Universitat de Barcelona from 2002 to 2003.
