Ashlie Claxton has a diverse work experience. Ashlie is currently working as the Associate Director of Operations at The Black Massacre Project since July 2023. Their role prior to that was as a Project Coordinator at the same organization from January 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining The Black Massacre Project, Ashlie worked as a Lead Teacher at the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties starting from September 2022.

Ashlie also has experience working at Rutgers University - Newark, where they worked as an Office Assistant from September 2018 to May 2021. During their time at the university, they also served as a Research Intern from January 2020 to May 2020.

Additionally, Ashlie worked as a Retail Cashier at Sam's Club from June 2019 to August 2020.

Ashlie Claxton, MPA has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University - Newark, which was completed between the years 2020 and 2023. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the same university between 2017 and 2021. Their education journey started with the completion of their High School Diploma from Phillipsburg High School. In addition to their academic achievements, they have also obtained a certification in Social/Behavioral/Epidemiologic Research Investigators from the CITI Program in February 2022.
