Jason Wong

Jason Wong, M.S. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jason began their career at The Y in Central Maryland in 2014, where they held several positions including Swim Lead Operations Associate, Head Lifeguard, Membership Associate, Swim Instructor II/ Private Instructor, Manager on Duty, Stay and Play Caregiver, Lifeguard II, Fitness Coach, Assistant Swim Coach, and Stroke and Turn Clinic Instructor. In 2017, they also worked at Towson University as an Adjunct Professor/ FYE advisor, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Ticket Agent/Event Staff/Building Monitor, Graduate Assistant of Aquatics and Safety, and Community Center Assistant. Additionally, Jason worked at Denton A. Cooley Center as a Head Lifeguard, Wang Dermatology as a Medical Assistant/ Medical Receptionist, GBMC HealthCare as a Physical Therapy Technician, and JOPPATOWNE RECREATION COUNCIL INC as a Head Swim Coach.

Jason Wong, M.S. has a strong educational background. Jason obtained their Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Towson University in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Functional Biology of Animals in 2020, also from Towson University. Additionally, they completed two Bachelor of Science degrees from Towson University in 2020, with majors in Theater Arts Studies and Exercise Science. Jason has also obtained various certifications, including Students Conducting No More Than Minimal Risk Research from the Collaborative Institutional Training Institute in 2021, Connect2 Champion from Connect2 Academy in 2020, Basic First Aid, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), and Emergency Oxygen from AMERICAN HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING, INC. in 2020, Water Safety Training from The Y in Central Maryland in 2021, Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) from Baltimore County Department of Health in 2020, and Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in 2021.
