Pierre Sanders

Pierre Sanders currently serves as the Community School Director and previously held the role of Community School Coordinator at The Y in Central Maryland since November 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Program Manager at Hampden Family Center, Teen Program Specialist at Enoch Pratt Free Library & Maryland State Library Resource Center, and Staff Development Consultant at Critical Exposure, among others. Pierre has a strong background in program management and development, having worked at Critical Exposure in various roles from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, Pierre has experience as a Program Fellow at Reach Incorporated and as a Member Assistant at L'Arche Greater Washington, DC. Early career highlights include serving as the Director of Christian Formation at BISHOP GRAVATT CENTER INC. Pierre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Voorhees College.
