Cory Hughes

Cory Hughes has extensive leadership experience in operations within the YMCA, currently serving as the District Vice President of Operations for the YMCA of Central Ohio since October 2013. In this role, Cory oversees Central District Operations and directly supervises multiple YMCA facilities, while also being an active member of the Association Executive Leadership team. Prior positions include Interim Vice President of Operations, Regional Vice President of Operations, and Executive Director at various YMCA branches. Before joining the YMCA, Cory held multiple leadership roles at the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, contributing to various safety and programmatic committees. Early career experience includes management positions at The Musicland Group Inc. and JCPenney. Cory's educational background includes studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and John Wood Community College.
