Misty Vinson Spitzer

Misty Vinson Spitzer is an experienced professional in community engagement and communications, currently serving as the Association Director of Community Engagement and Impact at the YMCA of Central Virginia since August 2016. Misty also operates Misty Vinson-Spitzer Communications Professional and Photographer since January 2019. Previous roles include Marketing Director at North Suburban YMCA, Marketing and Communications Director at Thomasville YMCA, and several positions at the YMCA of Thomasville, including Childwatch Director and Parade Director for the Thomasville GA Downtown Christmas Parade. Additionally, Misty worked as a teacher at Thomasville First United Methodist Church from 2005 to 2008. Education includes attendance at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2008 and ongoing coursework through Coursera since August 2024.
