Jennifer McPherson is the Senior Director of Membership Sales & Engagement at YMCA of Delaware. Jennifer has over 14 years of experience in the food and customer service industry.

Jennifer began their career as a Manager at Ruby Tuesday, where they were responsible for the delivery of quality food and service while turning a profit through the management of 45+ team members. Jennifer was also responsible for writing schedules, developing budgets, implementing cost/time saving processes, managing labor, turnover & food cost, increasing sales, developing people, planning meetings and handling guest and employee complaints and concerns.

In December 2006, Jennifer left Ruby Tuesday to become a District Sales Manager at Sysco. In this role, they solicited and established new accounts, met with customers to introduce new products, filled orders, solved problems, collected outstanding balances, improved customer and community relations, increased gross sales, and increased customer and company profits.

After 12 years at Sysco, Jennifer left in February 2019 to join YMCA of Delaware as their Senior Director of Membership Sales & Engagement. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for leading the membership sales team in meeting and exceeding annual revenue goals through acquisition and retention strategies. Jennifer is also responsible for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, creating and executing membership engagement programs, and overseeing member communications.

Jennifer McPherson's educational career includes a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Delaware as well as Sussex Technical High School.

Jennifer McPherson reports to Deborah Bagatta-Bowles, CEO. They work with Bette Francis - CHRO, Denise McDevitt - Administrative Assistant, and Chris Ryan - Group VP, Buildings & Properties.
