Kate Hanisian

Kate Hanisian serves as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and is a facilitator for the YMCA North American Network since January 2021. Previously, Kate co-founded and was the Executive Director of Design Impact, a non-profit focused on social design to tackle complex societal issues, from May 2009 to December 2020. Additional experience includes roles as an adjunct instructor at the Center for Creative Leadership and the University of Cincinnati Honors College, development director at the Ohio Justice & Policy Center, and various teaching positions. Kate holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a Master of Education from Xavier University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in English and History from Ohio University.
