Kelly Gibson

Kelly Gibson has a diverse work experience. They started their career in 1994 as an Automotive Account Executive at Design & Finishing Consultants and worked there until 1997. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a Service Coordinator/Team Leader at Cabletron Systems. They then joined GE Transportation in 1998, where they held various roles such as Contracting Agent, Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics, and Contracting Agent/Material Expediting. In 2013, they started working at YMCA of Greater Erie (Eastside Family YMCA Branch) as a Community Involvement Coordinator and later became an ASHI Trainer and a Group Fitness Instructor. They also served as the Director of Healthy Living from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, Kelly worked as a Human Resource Manager at Seaway Manufacturing Corp. Currently, they hold the position of Program Managing Director/The Y @ Wabtec at YMCA of Greater Erie since 2022.

Kelly Gibson attended Oakland University from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Training & Development. Additionally, they also pursued a minor in Labor & Employment Studies during the same period.
