The board of directors at YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids has a long history of experience in many different industries. Some of these include interim executive director at Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, director of the Latino Business and Economic Development Center at Ferris State University, executive director at West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, business development consultant at AEBetancourt, president at Rhodes To Success, LLC, executive vice president, business development at Right Management, senior account executive at ImageSoft, Inc., and senior vice president at Lighthouse Group. In addition to all of these experiences, the board of directors also have a wide range of educational backgrounds. Some of the schools they have attended include Kendall College of Art and Design, The American College and Kent State University, Kent State University, University of South Carolina, Michigan State University, and Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business.
