Talesha M.

Talesha M. has extensive experience in outreach and social services, currently serving as the Director of Outreach Services for the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County since June 2018, following previous roles as Associate Director and Program Supervisor. Additionally, Talesha M. works as an Intensive In-Community Therapist at Empower U. since November 2021 and served as the Ocean County TLC Coordinator for the Traumatic Loss Coalition from August 2022 to July 2023. Prior roles include Housing Recovery Specialist, Certified Financial Capabilities Coach, and Disaster Case Manager at the Affordable Housing Alliance NJ, as well as various positions at The Community YMCA and LifeWorks. Academically, Talesha M. holds a Master of Social Work focusing on International and Community Development from Monmouth University, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Rutgers University - Newark, and an Associate of Arts in Social Sciences from Brookdale Community College.
