Tammy Herndon

Tammy Herndon is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City since September 1999, Tammy manages daily accounting functions for a $28 million operating budget and assists in preparing monthly financial statements for various departments and 16 branch locations. Additionally, Tammy oversees accounting services for external YMCA associations and coordinates insurance billing and claims. Concurrently, as Treasurer for the United Methodist Church of Harrah since May 2016, Tammy manages accounting functions for a $150,000 budget, utilizing QuickBooks for financial reporting and payroll management. Tammy's career began at Oklahoma Publishing Company, where roles included Staff Accountant and Accounting Clerk. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.
