Hillary C. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hillary started their career as a Senior Administrative Assistant at Symetra in 2007 and held the position until 2011. Hillary then worked as a Career Services Resource Coordinator at World Learning from 2011 to 2012, followed by a role as a Career and Practicum Center Intern at SIT Graduate Institute from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, Hillary co-created a mentor program called ENGAGE at CIEE Thailand, where they served as a Network Coordinator until 2013. Hillary also worked as a Community Coordinator - AmeriCorps VISTA at Carpe Mundi from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on providing low-income and first-generation college students with educational opportunities. Hillary then served as a Research Intern at Carpe Diem Education in 2015. Later that year, they became a Fundraising Intern at Carpe Mundi. Their most recent position was at YMCA of Greater Seattle, where they held various roles from 2016 to the present, including Summer Camp Registrar, Annual Fund Drive Manager, and Administrative Director.
Hillary C. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Western Washington University in 2004. From 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Masters degree in International Education at the School for International Training. In 2015 and 2016, Hillary earned a TEFL Certificate from the International TEFL Academy, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction.
