Barbie Jefferson

Barbie Jefferson's work experience includes roles at the YMCA of Greenville, Wofford College, Ryan's Restaurant Group, and KPMG. Barbie started at KPMG in 2000 as a Senior Associate and worked there until 2004. After that, they joined Ryan's Restaurant Group as a Financial Analyst from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they began their career at Wofford College, starting as an Assistant Controller for Restricted Accounts and eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2018. Since 2018, Barbie has been working at the YMCA of Greenville, first as the Chief Financial Officer and currently as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Barbie Jefferson obtained a BA degree in Accounting from Columbia College (SC) in 1999. Barbie then pursued a Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, Barbie holds a certification as an Accountant/Certified Public Accountant from the South Carolina Board of Accountancy.
