Bryan Horton has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Bryan started their career as an IT Support Specialist at VidiStar, LLC in 2014, where they managed the Tier 1 Helpdesk and provided IT support for networking and software issues. In 2017, they joined Merit Technologies, LLC as an IT Engineer, where they responded to helpdesk requests and resolved hardware, software, and connectivity problems. Bryan then joined YMCA of Greenville in 2018 and held the position of System Administrator, where they installed, configured, repaired, and maintained workstations, network devices, and servers. Later, Bryan became the Director of Information Technology at YMCA of Greenville in 2019. In this role, they provided leadership and direction for the IT department, managed various aspects of IT infrastructure, implemented cybersecurity measures, and made key decisions regarding systems and technology.
Bryan Horton received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Phoenix in the years 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained certifications including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI), and LPIC Level 1.
