Kathleen Walsh

Kathleen Walsh has extensive experience in the YMCA organization. Kathleen started their career in 2004 as a Program Director at Fitcorp. From 2005 to 2012, they worked as an Executive Director/Group Vice President at YMCA of Greater Boston. In 2012, they joined YMCA of Metro North as Vice President of Development, where they oversaw capital and annual fundraising efforts. Kathleen then became the Chief Operating Officer in 2014, responsible for executing the organization's strategic plan across multiple locations. Kathleen's most recent role was as President and CEO of YMCA of Metro North, where they provided strategic oversight for the organization's eight facilities, managed a $26 million budget, and focused on advancing the mission and advocacy throughout the service area.

Kathleen Walsh attended Harvard Business School from 2022 to 2023, where they pursued a LEADS Fellowship in the field of study. In 2013-2014, they completed the YMCA of the USA Executive Leadership Program at the Chief Executive Officer Institute for their Executive Management degree. Kathleen also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Studies from Providence College.
