Lindsey Rutledge, M. Ed, currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Atlanta Public Schools, a position held since July 2013, and has held various roles including STEM Specialist, Early Learning Coach, and participation in the Instructional Leadership Development Program during the 2020-2021 academic year. Additionally, Lindsey has worked as a YMCA Site Coordinator for the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta since August 2017 and served as a University Teacher at Georgia State University from June 2017 to June 2021, teaching Classroom Management to undergraduates and Science Methods to graduate students. Previous experience includes serving as a Community Engagement Coordinator at Hands On Atlanta from October 2011 to July 2013 and teaching at the Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science in 2010-2011. Lindsey holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University and two Bachelor’s degrees in Human Development/Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Howard University.

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is an association of volunteers, members and staff, open to and serving all, with programs and services which build spirit, mind, and body. We serve more than 300,000 individuals with 21 full facilities, six additional program only sites and four childcare locations. The Y provides more than $5.5 million annually in financial assistance to support more than 25,000 youth, teens and families. The Y offers programs that serve kids, adults and families at all stages of life.
