Michael Harris

Michael Harris is currently a Board Member at YMCA of Middle Tennessee. Michael has previously held positions at EMI Music, Sony Music, and Deloitte and Touche.

Harris began their career in 1989 as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche. Michael then moved to Sony Corporation of America in 1991, where they worked as a Senior Accountant. In 1994, Harris was promoted to Director of Finance at Relativity Records, a Sony Music subsidiary.

In 1997, Harris left Sony Music to join EMI Music as EVP / General Manager of the Label Services & Caroline Distribution division. In this role, Harris was responsible for the division's $40 million budget and for developing the Label Services strategy. Under Harris's leadership, the division returned to profitability in the first full fiscal year.

Harris left EMI Music in 2013 after 16 years with the company. Michael has been a Board Member at YMCA of Middle Tennessee since 2014.

Michael Harris has a BBA in Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
