Mylica Cathey

Mylica Cathey, MS has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mylica started their career as a Program Specialist II in Caring For Children, where they conducted investigations for Child Protective Service referrals and supervised visitation between children and non-custodial parents. Mylica later became a Program Specialist III, serving as an advocate for children and managing communications with various services and organizations.

In 2005, Mylica joined Belmont University as a Senior Trainer, where they provided professional coaching and facilitated training programs on quality service review, conflict resolution, and ethics. Mylica also engaged staff in training activities and conducted assessments to ensure quality performance.

Since 2010, Mylica has been working at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee as the Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, they serve as an initial point of advice and problem resolution for employee relations, performance management, and employee discipline.
