Denis Giles

Denis Giles has extensive experience in aquatic management and program supervision, currently serving as the General Manager of Aquatics at the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario since February 2011, overseeing operations for multiple pools and a team of over 250 staff. Prior roles include Aquatics Supervisor and Manager of Health, Fitness & Recreation, emphasizing compliance, training, and collaboration across diverse community programs. In addition to aquatics, Denis has contributed as a Brand Designer and IT Support for A Splash of Colour Painting and Decorating, and has held management positions at Nottawasaga Inn Resort, Wheels Inn Resort, Muskoka Outfitters, Camp Wenonah, and Voxel Media. Educational background includes a Mid-Management Development Training Program from YMCA and a Hospitality, Recreation and Tourism Diploma with Honours from Humber College.
