William Hoke

Youth Sports Development Coach at YMCA of WNC

William Hoke is an experienced athletic director and educator with a diverse background in youth sports development and community programming. Currently serving as the Athletic Director for Buncombe County Schools and previously at Cane Creek Middle School, William has also worked as an ISS Teacher at A. C. Reynolds High School. In addition, William has been a Youth Sports Development Coach at the YMCA of Western North Carolina since December 2013, focusing on nurturing young athletes and officiating basketball games. With a commitment to youth engagement, William has held various roles, including Recreation Facility Supervisor at Asheville Parks & Recreation Department and staff at Christine W. Avery Learning Center. William's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Carolina University, a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University, and an Associate's degree in School Age Education from Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
