Marnie Willey

Marnie Willey has extensive experience in the field of human resources, particularly in the theme park industry. Marnie most recently worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at the YMCA of San Diego County since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando from 2018 to 2020, where they developed and implemented HR strategies for three major resort properties. Before that, they were the Vice President of Human Resources at SeaWorld from 2016 to 2018, where they focused on reorganizing and improving HR operations at the seasonal parks. Marnie first joined SeaWorld San Diego in 2007 and held various positions, including Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Learning and Development. In these roles, they were responsible for designing staffing models, compensation strategies, and learning and development programs. Marnie also provided compliance and regulatory advice and managed a team of direct reports.

Marnie Willey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego. Marnie also has a Master of Arts degree in Organization Behavior from Alliant International University-San Diego Campus. In addition, they have obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management from San Diego State University.
